Border Terrier Crashes Baby’s Tummy Time Video and Steals the Spotlight Like a Diva

Both of my dogs like to keep a low profile. My senior Dachshund and her Pug mix brother both seem to know exactly when I’m taking a picture of them and immediately break eye contact. They’ll look away and even leave the room just to avoid being photographed.
Meredith the Border Terrier apparently loves the camera. When the baby of the house was being filmed enjoying some adorable “tummy time”, Meredith completely photobombed the shot.
In the TikTok from @xoemmadavidsonxo, the adorable baby boy was staring into the camera while lying on his tummy. Out of nowhere, Meredith literally belly crawled across the floor right in front of the infant, blocking him from view.
“POV: your dog needs all the attention,” the on-screen text shared, with the caption adding, “It’s Meredith’s world — we’re just living in it.”
The post speaks truth. Meredith clearly had no shame stealing the spotlight from the infant and even flashed her own belly, almost as if to brag. The camera-loving canine wanted it to be her tummy time and completely upended the video with a look of satisfaction on her face.
Followers found Meredith’s timing — and self-absorption — totally hilarious:
“Meredith was like ‘yes I’m the tummy time queen’,” one remarked.
“She literally baby crawled over and everything,” another pointed out.
“Meredith said, let me show you how tummy time is done,” a follower noted.
“The timing of the crawl into view was perfection,” someone posted.
“Meredith will not be dethroned!” a fan declared.
Border Terriers Are Wonderful Family Pets
While Meredith appeared to be a bit egocentric in the social media post, Border Terriers are actually low-maintenance dogs. They love being around people and make a wonderful addition to families. These canine cuties are eager to please and thrive when they’re socializing.

Like most dogs, Border Terriers love their meals and snacks. They can put on weight easily due to their small size, so keeping them on a healthy diet is essential. Border Terriers need moderate, consistent exercise to expend their energy and stay mentally stimulated.
And like Meredith so beautifully illustrated, Border Terriers can be quite entertaining and keep life exciting!
